CELEBRATING 185 MEDALS
A brandcandy Executive Producer was invited by the GLA to create, script and direct a VIP Finale for the Team GB and Paralympics GB Victory Parade, after the London 2012 Olympics. The televised event was hosted by Helen Skelton and Ben Shephard and featured speeches from the British Prime Minister David Cameron; Mayor of London Boris Johnson; and the Princess Royal. It also featured appearances by medal winning athletes from both teams; musical performances by Katherine Jenkins, The Pet Shop Boys and the Band of the Coldstream Guards; plus members of the Queen’s Guard; and a flyby by British Airways and the Red Arrows.
The Lions took their place on the Queen Victory Monument until giving way to the athletes.
