COUNTDOWN TO LONDON 2012
Creative Production talent from brandcandy created a live show to celebrate ‘One Year To Go’ until the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
A warm-up cultural show featured performances by London-based singers and dancers; parkour runners; bmx riders; and the London 2012 Mascots. The main celebration, which was broadcasted internationally by the BBC, featured speeches by the then British Prime Minister, David Cameron and Mayor of London, Boris Johnson; a formal invitation to the countries for the world to form teams to complete at the Games by Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee; and a London 2012 Medal Reveal presented by The Process Royal and LOCOG Chairman, Sir Sebastian Coe.
Our team created the run of show; designed the set and environmental graphics; sourced and managed talent; wrote scripts; directed the show and managed stakeholders from LOCOG, the GLA and BBC.
